The plan — two floors

Where each view is from, and which way it faces. 01 is the image at the top; the other numbers match the images below.

Main floor, 600 sq ft
Floor plan of the ADU 1200-2 main floor, 600 sq ft. Read from the plan

  1. From the plan

    Two stories of 600 sq ft on a 30 × 20 ft footprint, with three bedrooms and two baths. The main floor: the great room, an L-shaped kitchen with a pantry and no island, bedroom 3, the hall bath, and an enclosed L-shaped stair. Upstairs: a loft with a washer and dryer alcove, the primary suite with its bath and walk-in closet, and bedroom 2.

  2. Not on the floor plan

    The cabinet, counter, floor and tile finishes, the appliance colors, the look of the furniture, the yard and the light.

  3. Matches the plan

    The kitchen as an L in the back corner with no island: the refrigerator beside the pantry, then the dishwasher and the sink under the window, and the range on the end wall. The front door beside the corner of the front wall, past the window. The stair climbing to the right behind the coat closet, between walls, and winding at the back wall. Upstairs, in the loft: the sofa on the back wall, the window centered on the end wall, and the closet, the bedroom doors and the washer and dryer alcove along the other side. In the primary bath: the vanity by the door, the toilet under the window and the tub across the end. In all three bedrooms: the headboard on the wall where the plan puts it.
